The parents of a star Pace University athlete who was fatally shot by police over the weekend appeared on "Good Morning America" today to demand the truth, and to ask anyone who is feeding any half-truths to investigators to please stop.
"We don't want people coming forward to say they were there who weren't," Danroy Henry Sr. said from his home in Easton, Mass. this morning alongside his wife, Angela. "We need to have the absolute truth."
Danroy Henry Jr. was fatally shot outside of a Thornwood bar over the weekend after a large, unruly group spilled into the parking lot, prompting police to respond.
The Henrys added that they do not want to make their son's death a 'race issue,' and that they are only trying to get to the truth.
