Parts of the Hudson Valley are one step closer to getting a new internet provider.

Archtop Fiber has announced it has closed its third acquisition of regional carrier Warwick Valley Telephone.

The new deal will allow Archtop Fiber to provide high-speed internet to residents in parts of Orange County and the Mid-Hudson Valley.

As part of the service, customers can expect upload and download speeds of up to 10 billion bits per second.

Construction has already begun, with Archtop beginning to overlash fiber onto WVT's existing lines.
