Community members wore their red, white and blue at an annual July 4th parade that took place in Peekskill.
The parade was organized by the city's volunteer firefighters association. It began on Crompond Road and ended at the Central Fire House on North Broad Street.
About 250 people marched in the parade, including seven bands and several beauty pageant contestants like Miss New York from the Miss America pageant.
The chairman of the event, Tom Walker, said the parade has been going for over 50 years.
