Good news for parents trying to buy school supplies, but only if you're patient -- New Jersey is offering a tax-free holiday on school supplies.

Parents will have to wait until the end of the summer. The state is offering a tax holiday on all school supplies, but not until Aug. 27 to Sept. 5.

The state will be joining more than a dozen other states that already have a tax holiday on pencils, binders and other educational items.
