A new photo exhibit promoting peace and understanding is making its way to Chappaqua this week.
It’s called “Through Others’ Eyes,” and features portraits and visuals taken by four teens — two Arab and two Jewish, who spent a year - not only learning about photography, but each other, too.
“It's amazing when you look at some of these pictures, the clarity these kids have about the lives that they're living,” says Michele Gregson, chair of Friends of Chappaqua Performing Arts Center. “And it takes my breath away, a few of the pictures...You know, the picture speaks 1,000 words. Like you know what their lives are like.”
