People in Pleasant Valley are working to make the world a better place, one kind act at a time.
Residents have taken more than 250 kindness capsules from the Pleasant Valley library since May.
Each one has a free or low cost suggestion to help bring someone else joy. "I have ones that say leave an extra dollar in the vending machine or you know, if you're in a store and the employee is very kind to you, tell their manager," says Valerie Britton, of the Pleasant Valley library.
Britton began leaving "Be Kind" rubber ducks around Pleasant Valley to help people in the community feel more connected to each other last October and the effort has evolved greatly since then.
