Police: 17-year-old boy stabbed in Yonkers in stable condition

Yonkers police say a teen was stabbed as a result of a dispute Tuesday evening.

Police responded to 89 Ash Street around 8:30 p.m. They say a 17-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with a stab wound to his side.

Police have not said if they made any arrests and did not detail the specifics of the altercation that led up to the incident.

Officials say the teen is listed in stable condition.

Ash Street was closed between Oak and Walnut streets as of 10:30 p.m. Tuesday,
