Police: 3 arrested on weapons charges after traffic stop in Sullivan County

Three people have been arrested on weapons charges following a traffic stop in Sullivan County.State police say they pulled over a 2023 Hyundai Kona traveling westbound on State Route 17 after multiple traffic violations.

Three people have been arrested on weapons charges following a traffic stop in Sullivan County.
State police say they pulled over a 2023 Hyundai Kona traveling westbound on State Route 17 after multiple traffic violations.
The driver of vehicle, 32-year-old Tyquan Robinson, was being interviewed by police when K-9 Wink alerted officers to narcotics.
Police say Robinson was traveling with 34-year-old Christian Tapscott and 29- year-old Tandra Smoots.
Through further investigation, police say they found 10 firearms, several magazines and illicit drugs in the vehicle.
The driver and passengers face multiple charges and have been arraigned in the Town of Rockland Court.
