The search is still on for at least three suspects involved in an altercation Friday that left a number of Yonkers police officers injured.
Police were called to Glen Hill Avenue to check out a suspicious vehicle when they realized a suspect had a gun. When police attempted to arrest the suspect, the suspect resisted arrest and fled on foot down Lockwood Avenue.
Another suspect fled the scene as well
A second vehicle then attempted to flee, driving backwards right into police, shoving one officer up against a utility pole, before crashing into two cars.

Police seized the first vehicle and recovered a handgun.
In an abundance of caution, Saunders High School and School 5 were told to shelter in place temporarily.
