New Windsor police arrested a couple Tuesday accused of selling hard drugs, like cocaine and ecstasy, to young customers.
Police arrested Michelle Kipp and Carlos Mansilla after they say they discovered tens of thousands of dollars of cocaine, marijuana, OxyContin and ecstasy in their Knox Village apartment Friday. Authorities say they gathered evidence about the drug deals for about three months before making the arrests.
Police believe the majority of Kipp and Mansilla?s customers were 16 and 17 years old. They suspect the teenagers who purchased drugs are behind a rash of burglaries in Orange County.
In addition to the drugs, police also found a .50-caliber revolver inside the couple?s apartment. Officers say the gun is much larger than guns typically found in public possession.
The couple is being held without bail.
