Port Jervis police say a masked man seen at a family’s doorstep on Ring video last week was quickly nabbed after they received multiple complaints of a person trespassing and breaking into vehicles in one neighborhood.
Authorities say Cesar Page, 37, was arrested last Wednesday and charged with criminal trespass and petit larceny. He was issued an appearance ticket.
Video appearing to show him wearing a hoodie and a sheer mask at a doorstep of one residence, seemingly trying to peer through widows and block the camera lens, was given to News 12 by the occupants.
Police say they were called to the area of Lyman Street to investigate the reports when they found Page. They say he tried to run away from police but was caught without incident.
Authorities say Page has other similar pending charges from April that he was also issued an appearance ticket for.
