A Bronx man wanted for a fatal shooting was arrested Monday morning after a standoff with police, investigators say.
Police say they were tipped off that 19-year-old Brian Santiago was hiding out in his Hobart Avenue apartment. Santiago had been on the run since shooting a 23-year-old man to death Sunday on Taylor Avenue, police say.
Police arrived at Santiago's apartment Monday morning and demanded that he come out. They say after not receiving a response for four hours, they sent in dogs to find Santiago.
