Police in Pelham Manor are warning residents to be extra vigilant after a string of burglaries.
The latest break-in occurred around 4:45 a.m. Monday at a home on Grant Street.
Two suspects caught on surveillance video could be seen using a crowbar to open a back door to get inside while the family living there was still asleep.
No one was hurt, and the thieves got away with a handbag and car keys.
Police officials say they've received multiple reports over the last 10 days of similar incidents and are reminding people to make sure their doors and windows are secure.
Investigators are also encouraging people to park cars in their garages, lock cars even if it's in the driveway and always bring key fobs inside.
Pelham Manor police say they are beefing up patrols throughout the community.
