Police have arrested a man on suspicion of drunken driving after they say he crashed into a farm tractor early this morning on the Pulaski Highway in Warwick.
Officials say 19-year-old Sean Quinn was driving drunk when he crashed into the tractor being driven by 63-year-old Steven Morgiewicz, nearly splitting the tractor in two.
Morgiewicz suffered serious injuries, including a broken neck, but authorities say he does not appear paralyzed.
Police say the tractor appears to have been displaying the proper lights on it for operating at night and it is not uncommon for farm equipment to use the road.
Investigators are still trying to determine how fast Quinn was going and say that more charges may be filed against him.
