Police: Elmsford couple hospitalized following car crash in Greenburgh

The man is currently in stable condition at Westchester Medical Center, according to authorities. His wife remains in critical condition.

An Elmsford couple was hospitalized after a car crash in Greenburgh Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a 92-year-old man was driving a 2004 Subaru westbound on Ardsley Road when he hit a telephone pole. His 88-year-old wife was also in the passenger seat during the crash.
The crash resulted in Ardsley Road being closed for around two hours.
The man is currently in stable condition at Westchester Medical Center, according to authorities. His wife remains in critical condition.
Police say they are investigating and trying to find out whether the driver had a medical emergency at the time of the crash.
