Police are searching for a man who attempted two abductions a little over an hour apart Tuesday.
A male suspect attempted to abduct a 20-year-old woman at gunpoint at around 6:45 a.m. The young woman was standing at the bus stop at East Gun Hill Road and Dewitt. She managed to fend off her attacker and then ran into a nearby deli. Workers described her as frantic.
The suspect then made his way over toward Brunner and Bartow avenues, where he attempted to kidnap a 15-year-old girl.
Police want anyone with information on either incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
