(06/13/05) WHITE PLAINS ? Police in Newark, Delaware say they have captured the man responsible for killing White Plains college student Lindsey Bonistall.

Investigators say 34-year-old James Cook Jr. strangled and raped Bonistall before setting fire to her apartment. According to police, Cook was arrested a week ago for an apartment break-in that occurred near Bonistall?s residence. Authorities say they have linked Cook to Bonistall?s murder through physical evidence.

Bonistall?s father says he is relieved his daughter?s killer has been captured. He has also thanked police for their hard work.
