A death investigation is now underway in Orange County after a child found unresponsive at his home died at a local hospital.

It happened earlier this month in Wallkilll.

Investigators say the police were called to a home on 82 Edward Diana Way.

Once inside, they found a 3-year-old child unconscious.

The child was rushed to Garnet Health Medical Center by EMS where he was later pronounced deceased.
