Police in Spring Valley are looking for a man they say tried to lure a boy into his car.

According to police, an 11-year-old boy was walking on Charles Lane at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday when a man in a brown vehicle pulled up alongside him. The man asked the boy to get into his car. The boy said no, ran home and told his parents what happened.

Police are calling residents telling them to be on the lookout for any suspicious incidents. Anyone with information is asked to call Spring Valley Police Department at 845-356-7400.
