Police say they have confiscated hundreds of marijuana plants worth over $1 million from grow houses in Orange County.
The first bust occurred at a Monroe house on Route 105, producing 400 plants worth about $500,000 in street value and leading to the arrest of Mathew Fishman, police say.
The second raid took place on California Drive in Middletown, resulting in Anthony Quinn's arrest.
While police say the busts are good news, their work is going to get busier. According to officials, August through October is "harvest time" for outdoor growers of marijuana.
