Police officers survive explosion while rescuing people from burning home in Orange County

In Orange County, two police officers from the Town of Highlands survived an explosion while trying to rescue people from a house in Fort Montgomery.
The incident occurred early Friday morning on Rivercrest Road when the officers were attempting save several residents and a pet pig who were inside the house.
Video captures the moment when the explosions knocked one officer back several feet.
Everyone inside was able to get out. State police are investigating the incident.
