Police: Pfizer worker kills self in Pearl River
Police say a Pfizer employee was found dead inside a car in the company's parking lot in Pearl River Tuesday in an apparent suicide.
Orangetown police say the man's body was discovered at around 3:35 p.m. Initial reports that the man suffered a wound to his neck have yet to be confirmed.
Investigators say the motive behind the apparent suicide is unclear. Police were told that the worker would not have been impacted by Pfizer's impending layoffs.
