A woman died in a cash that occurred near Route 300 and Union Avenue in Newburgh Wednesday night around 9:40 a.m., according to police.
A box truck heading northbound allegedly crossed into the southbound lane and struck a Dodge Ram. After the collision, the truck continued northbound in the southbound lane and struck a Ford SUV.
The driver of the Ford SUV, 68-year-old Tureli Quincy, of Poughkeepsie, died from her injuries at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh.
The box truck driver was treated for his injuries and released. No charges have been filed while the investigation continues.
