Police are searching for three suspects in connection with an attack and carjacking on the campus of Rockland Community College.
According to authorities, a 21-year-old student was beaten by three men Wednesday night as he walked out of a classroom.
Following the attack, police say the suspects stopped a passing car, threatened the female driver and demanded a ride to Spring Valley. The woman, who is also an RCC student, was not harmed.
RCC President Cliff Wood says the victim knew his attackers and chose not to press charges.
"I don't think people have to be concerned that there's some sort of other problems here," Wood says.
