New Rochelle police continued their investigation into a fatal shooting over the weekend.
Officers were called to the apartment building at 55 Clinton Pl. on Saturday morning. They arrived to discover 30-year-old Meisha Williams had been fatally shot.
Detectives could be seen going in and out of the building all weekend. Investigators say they were able to identify a suspect as they worked the area collecting evidence and interviewing people in the building.
The suspect is identified as 28-year-old Robert Wooten. Police say they tracked him down to Queens and he was arrested Saturday night.
Police say charges are pending and that Meisha Williams and Robert Wooten knew each other. However, they are still trying to determine the nature of their relationship.
