Three Yonkers residents are facing charges for allegedly stealing cooking oil from a Dutchess County restaurant, according to police.
Investigators say the suspects stole the used oil from the Jaegar House Restaurant in Red Hook on Route 9G Wednesday around 10:30 a.m.
They say a person who called said the suspects left driving a Home Dept truck.
A short time later, police found them and discovered over 100 gallons of stolen cooking oil and the equipment used to steal it.
News 12 is told the truck was rented out of Westchester County and may have been involved in multiple larcenies in the area in recent weeks.
All three suspects have been charged with larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
