yesterdayPolice launched a search for three suspects who they say were involved in a shooting at Canal Lock Apartments in the Village of Ellenville.
They say the suspects forcibly entered a unit in the apartment complex armed with guns.
A man was shot during the struggle while trying to open the door to the unit.
First responders treated the victim before he was taken by a medical helicopter to Westchester Medical Center.
The suspects were wearing ski masks and dark clothes, according to detectives. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
