Two men were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Rockland County.
Thomas Anselmi, 35, of Garnerville, was pulled over by a Stony Point police officer on South Liberty Drive Tuesday night. The officer observed drugs inside the vehicle.
Anselmi was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after officers found cocaine, crack cocaine, black tar heroin, and pharmaceutical pills.
A search of the vehicle yielded an additional 3.5 ounces of cocaine, leading to the arrest of passenger Keith Wancho, 34, of West Haverstraw.
Wancho was also found with cocaine and oxycodone pills.
Both men were arraigned in Haverstraw Justice Court. Anselmi was sent to Rockland County Jail without bail due to prior felony convictions. Wancho was released and is scheduled to appear in Stony Point Justice Court on Nov. 7.
