Police: Spring Valley man arrested in connection to fatal Ramapo hit-and-run

7h agoA Spring Valley man has been arrested in connection to a fatal hit-and-run that occurred in Ramapo.
Police say Bryan Castillo-Solorzano, 26, allegedly hit an 82-year-old woman on Hempstead Lane in the Hillcrest portion of Ramapo last Saturday morning.
He was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident which resulted in the death of another.
Castillo-Solorzano’s cash bail was set at $75,000 and he has been taken to Rockland County jail.
Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, authorities have only released limited information.
