Police are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects responsible for burglarizing two Poughkeepsie businesses last week.
Officers say they responded to the businesses on Mount Carmel Place and Parker Avenue on Thursday.
Both locations had been broken into and cash was stolen from the one on Parker Avenue.
It is unclear if anything was stolen from the location on Mount Carmel Place or if the two incidents are connected.
The burglaries are being investigation by the Detective Bureau, according to authorities.
Poughkeepsie police say there have been nine reported commercial burglaries since mid-July. Four of them ended in arrests.
Authorities also remind local business owners to secure shops when they are closed.
Anyone with information about the burglaries is urged to call (845)451-7577.
