375ds agoA woman who was driving south on Route 9 Monday with a young child lost control and crashed near a guardrail, police say.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. Southbound traffic is impacted while Peekskill police and fire crews try to determine what happened.
Police say the car was nearly broken in half.
The fire chief says the driver and the child were taken to Westchester Medical Center. News 12 is told the driver sustained injuries but the child appears to be OK.
