Two polio vaccine clinics are being held in Rockland County next week. The first will be on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Spring Valley and the other will be on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Pomona.
A confirmed case of polio in Rockland County was the nation's first case in 10 years.
Wastewater now shows the polio virus being detected from Orange County to New York City.
Researchers say this is a scary sign because the Rockland man who tested positive for the virus was paralyzed due to the illness.
