Port Chester's Kayleigh Heckel is one of 24 girls who were chosen for this year's McDonald's All-American Basketball Game.
Kayleigh plays for powerhouse Long Island Lutheran.
She received her official All-American game jersey at a school assembly.
Kayleigh said she cried when she found out she made the final cut for the game. She will play in it with two of her teammates.
"I knew I was a McDonald's All-American, but seeing the jersey just made it seem real and it's just like... makes us so much happier to represent our school," she said.
The McDonald's All-American Basketball Game will be on April 2 in Houston.
