Port Chester High School went into a temporary lockdown Tuesday due to events unrelated to the school, police said.
Police have not yet said what caused the lockdown. It was lifted just before 3:30 p.m.
A staff member told News 12 that students were not allowed to leave the building and there was no one allowed in the hallways until the school received an all clear from authorities.
