yesterdayA 34-year-old woman from Port Chester is in custody after being found with an illegal handgun.
Brooke Manderson was arrested after police responded to a disturbance call at an apartment on Weber Drive.
According to authorities, Manderson was found in possession of a handgun with a defaced serial number. After a short struggle, police were able to subdue her and take her into custody.
Manderson is currently being held in county jail.
