To give the district time to solidify safety protocols and implement support for students, the school says it will gradually return students to the high school by grade starting Friday, Nov. 19.

School officials have announced that Poughkeepsie High School will be closed again on Thursday.
To give the district time to solidify safety protocols and implement support for students, the school says it will gradually return students to the high school by grade starting Friday, Nov. 19.
In a letter to parents, school officials released the following reopening times:
Given the need to methodically transition students back into the school environment and execute a student support structure to address the trauma experienced by students, the following modified attendance schedule for students has been established:
Friday, Nov. 19, 8:00 a.m. - 11 a.m. – all 11th grade students are to report to PHS
Friday, Nov. 19 - 11:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. – 2:45pm all 12th grade students are to report to PHS
Monday, Nov. 22- 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. - all 9th grade students are to report to PHS
Monday, Nov. 22 - 11:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. - all 10th grade students are to report to PHS
Tuesday, Nov. 23. - Full day session for all students resume.
