Police in Poughkeepsie are investigating two incidents of shots being fired on Christmas Day.

The first happened on N. Clover Street around 5 a.m. Several shell casings were found at the scene, according to police.

The second incident was at Flannery Avenue, where police say they discovered a bullet strike in the area.

Officials have not indicated a connection between the incidents.
