Power has been restored in Hartsdale after a power line fell onto the road Monday night, causing sparks and flames near the corner of North-Way and East-Way.
Officials say the incident may be connected to a transformer blowing.
Many residents nearby reported hearing a loud boom.
"The lights like flickered on and off and then, we heard a boom. It flickered off and back on and then like half of the lighting was on," said Madeline Schneider of Hartsdale.
Emergency crews say they do not believe anyone was seriously hurt.
