Prairie City Bakery is recalling certain Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Ooey Gooey Butter Cake due to the recalled Jif peanut butter.

Prairie City Bakery is recalling certain Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Ooey Gooey Butter Cake due to the recalled Jif peanut butter.
The peanut butter had been recalled in May due to potential salmonella contamination.
The recall is for 50,220 individually wrapped cakes sold in 2-ounce packages and in 10-packs of 2-ounce packages sold at gas stations and convenience stores nationwide, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
The agency says these cakes should not be eaten or handled outside of the wrapper and should be thrown out or returned.
Anyone who purchased the cakes can call Prairie City Bakery at 800-338-5122 with the package code information for refunds Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time.
