President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden were back on the campaign trail today after the second and final debate Thursday. The question is, did anything that was said change the nature of the race?

Polls have consistently shown that Joe Biden has a small but enduring lead in this race. With 11 days left until Election Day, the onus was on the president to shake things up.

There was one moment his supporters think helped, and that was on the topic of fossil fuels.

President Trump criticized Biden's stance on fossil fuels in an aim to hurt the former vice president in key swing states like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Ohio.

Democratic primary voters are very much against fracking, but it employs a lot of people in those states.

Afterwards, Joe Biden tried to clean up his comment saying he only wants to get rid of subsidies for oil and gas.

According to the Bureau of Labor statistics, fracking accounts for about 26,000 jobs in Pennsylvania, which many analysts say is likely to be the tipping point state– the state that decides the election one way or another.
