William Dam-Roth, a priest in Orange County, has been sentenced to 16 weekends in jail for stealing $300,000 from Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta church in Newburgh, where he served.
He will also face five years of probation and must complete 500 hours of community service.
Dam-Roth has paid back the full amount he stole.
