A man wanted for storming the Capitol was arrested in Westchester before trying to flee the country.
Prosecutors
say Jeffrey Sabol allegedly dragged an officer down the steps of the Capitol.
Authorities
arrested him outside Westchester Medical Center early Friday.
They
say Sabol told News 12 he was in “a fit of rage.”
White
Plains Judge Andrew Krause called the allegations “very disturbing, deeply
troubling and “conduct beyond the pale.”
Sabol’s lawyer argued everything is not 100% clear and that Sabol should
get bail, but the judge denied that and called Sabol a “danger to the
community.”
Police say Sabol grew up in New York, but has lived in Colorado for 20
years.
He did not enter a plea on Friday.
