Police say a man has been arrested in an attack on two officers that happened during a protest last weekend.
Authorities say the suspect, 43-year-old Robert Murray, turned himself in. Charges against him include assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and inciting a riot.
Murray is one of seven people who allegedly took part in the assault as hundreds marched across the Brooklyn Bridge in response to the Eric Garner grand jury decision. Police say he is a Brooklyn resident.
The NYPD says it has strong leads on another three men and three women. Nine other individuals are being sought as possible eyewitnesses.
A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the suspects. Anyone who may know something should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
