2h agoIndie rock musician, Mitski, who is a 2013 graduate of Purchase College, has just been nominated for an Oscar.
Her collaboration on "This is a Life," for the movie "Everything Everywhere All At Once," is nominated for best original song.
Mitski was a studio composition major and published her first two albums while at Purchase.
Her second album was her senior project, the critically acclaimed "Retired from Sad, New Career in Business."
The Oscars will air on March 12 at 8 p.m.
