It still seems to be unclear about who exactly posted a racially charged comment on a Port Chester school board president's Facebook page about a month ago.

Thomas Corbia claims his Facebook account was hacked.

The controversial post was put up by someone who is said to be a friend of Corbia's.

It states: "I'm selling my white privilege card. It's just over 77 years old and it hasn't done a damn thing for me. No inheritance, no free college, no free food, no free housing, etc. I may even be willing to do an even trade for a race card. Those seem way more useful and more widely accepted."

A comment under Corbia's account says, "Tommy, you are the BLANK-ing best and whoever doesn't like that post, well they know what they can do."

The question still remains — was he hacked or did he make the posts on his Facebook page?

Corbia apparently still hasn't handed over his electronic devices to be investigated.

A board meeting Thursday night revealed that he and the school district are now represented by legal counsel.

Board members and dozens in the community say they are frustrated that the investigation has been going on for more than a month now. Many are calling for Corbia to step down while the investigation continues, but the community is even more taken back that he left the virtual meeting as public comments were just getting underway.

The school board says Corbia's electronic devices will soon be handed over for the investigation, but it's not clear when.

The school's ethics committee, a computer forensics firm and legal counsel will continue to investigate the source of the controversial Facebook posts.
