Raid finds numerous weapon and huge drug stash in Deerpark residence

A New York State Police Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team says it removed the items from a residence in the Town of Deerpark.

State and local police have made a major drug and gun bust in Orange County.
A New York State Police Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team says it removed the items from a residence in the Town of Deerpark.
The New York State Police Troop F Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team, along with Town of Deerpark police and City of Port Jervis police, removed the following guns and drugs from a residence in the town of Deerpark:
  • Two loaded Code Red Assault Rifles
  • A loaded Springfield XD-45 .45 caliber handgun
  • Five large capacity ammunition feeding devices
  • Numerous rounds of ammunition
  • A bulletproof vest
Investigators also discovered crack cocaine, heroin, amphetamine pills, Clonazepam pills, fentanyl pills, psilocybin mushrooms, 37.7 suboxone and naloxone sublingual films.
State police say they were assisted by police from Deerpark and Port Jervis.
