The remnants of former Hurricane Delta will make for slick driving conditions across the Hudson
Valley today.
News 12 meteorologists say
the system could bring up to three inches of rain to the region and cause
ponding and flash flooding on local roadways.
Officials say traditional trouble spots such as the Bronx
River and Saw Mill parkways will be closely watched. Gusty winds could bring
down trees, branches and power lines.
Officials are also warning that falling leaves are coating
roadways causing slick driving conditions. They are urging that motorist
take extra time commuting to and from work today.
