Ramapo police: Intoxicated 19-year-old kicked officer in the chest and face during arrest

The Ramapo Police Department says a 19-year-old woman is accused of attacking an officer Thursday while she was being arrested.
Ramapo police responded to a Wesley Hills home for reports of a female causing an issue. 
When the first officer arrived on the scene, he found an intoxicated woman causing damage to the home and herself. 
Police say the suspect was out of control and fought with the officer when he attempted to help her. 
Police handcuffed her and put her in the back of the patrol car until an ambulance arrived. 
As officers were moving her to the ambulance, police say she kicked a female officer in the chest and face. 
The suspect was arrested and charged with assault in attempting to cause an injury to an officer. 
The officer was treated for injuries at Good Samaritan Hospital.
