Red Cross provides emergency assistance to 33 residents displaced by Yonkers fire

The 33 residents stayed at The Police Athletic League Center in Yonkers following the fire.

The Red Cross provided overnight housing and meals to the 33 residents who were displaced by a fire that tore through an apartment Thursday in south Yonkers.
Officials say 12 of the displaced individuals are children. The 33 residents stayed at The Police Athletic League Center in Yonkers following the fire.
The Red Cross says any residents who still need help are welcome to contact them.
