Some members of Congress are grilling top universities over their handling of antisemitism on college campus.
Presidents of Harvard, Penn, and MIT testified before the House Committee on Education and the workforce over the rise in antisemitic protests and violence on campuses in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman says he wants college leaders to address the increase in antisemitism and to take more action against it.
"There's been a lot of political pandering discussed here without the action that goes with the accountability and the condemnation that comes when we see antisemitism as it raises its head," said Bowman.
Since Hamas' terror attack on Israel, an unprecedented number of investigations into alleged incidents of hate on campuses have been opened since the start of the Israel-Hamas war.
